Well, as far as I know I am the only person in the US to have true Svart Honas. They are just as black as the Ayam Cemani. The Svarts (Swedish Black Hens) are a little less "gamey" in appearance and weigh a little bit more on average than a Cemani. Also, I have noticed the eggs from my Svarts are solid white, while Cemani lay light pink/brown eggs.Do you have any pics, I'd love to see them!
Someone was talking about the Svart Hona on another thread saying people were selling them as Ayam Cemani's for huge amounts of money because they look similar?
I don't know I'm about to google them now to see what they look like.
They sound pretty!!!
Oh I want one!!! Just looked them up. Hopefully they are easier to obtain than the Ayam Cemani which at this price will have to remain my dream chicken....
