B.Y.C. Dorking Club!

I have two girls who are dorking crosses. Sparrow is crossed with Isbar and Pillow I'm not sure. I though she was crossed with Isbar as well but she lays a brown egg, not green. If I were to incubate their eggs would the resulting chicks also have the 5th toe? I have them in with non-dorking cockerels(brahma and Isbar) so only they have the genetics for the 5th toe....

Hello, I just joined this group. I bought my first Dorking chicks last summer from McMurray hatchery. Hoping to learn about them from this club. I have 5 hens and 1 rooster. I love their friendly personality.
Welcome! I have Silver Grey Dorkings and I'm hoping to add some Red Dorkings this spring. I am forever hooked on Dorkings!

This is one of my Dorkings. Her name is Bubbles. One of two I have in my flock.

Hello all! I'm just starting to learn a little about Dorkings. I started looking up info on them because I have a mystery bantam that I'm curious as to what she is. (I was given no info on her from the person I got her from).

She doesn't have a single comb like many of the birds on here, but her comb is what brought me to the Dorking bread originally.

Mystery girl is on the left...could she possibly be a Dorking or even part?

Sorry for the not so great pics but she was broody when I got her lol

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

-In the mean time I'll keep reading along in this thread 500+ pages will take me a while to catch up, but I am enjoying the pics of all the beautiful birds!

Hi all!

I'd like to join in on this thread & put out there that I'm looking to gain some Red Dorkings!!! Preferably live chicks, but am willing to take fertile eggs as well.

I had SG Dorkings last year, but had to cull them due to an MG outbreak. I have ordered my 25 chicks from Whitmore Farm, and am looking to get some (also disease free!) Reds to lay our white eggs.

Please comment or PM if you have anything!
Love, love, love everybody's Dorks!

I wish my computer hadn't crashed so I could post pics of the SGs I had...

They are by far the best breed I've owned. But I may be a bit biased
