Hello!

My name is Brianne, I live in Central MA, and am a beginner with chickens!

My husband and I have three daughters, 2 coonhounds Wilbur and Lady, and 14 chicks (10 days old as of today)

We are changing a raised shed (with electricity) and windows into a chicken coop for our flock (Babbling Bettie’s Backyard Birds, named after my mother who passed in 2006)

We enjoy gardening, tractors (my husband ) and skiing!

Hello and welcome to the forums. wow! that's so nice, till when do you want them in that coop? my suggestion is when you notice their tails build up.
