Babies All Grown Up!

My TSC chicks are 17 weeks old now and look like grown women (hens). They even walk and talk differently now.

One of my Easter Egger babies has just started laying eggs.

What breed did you pick up at TSC? the TSC in my area didnt sell anything that looked like her when she was a chick! The only thing close to her were Bantams!

I actually went to two different TSC's to get the variety I wanted.
The one in the photo is an Easter Egger.

I bought Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Australorps, and Easter Eggers.

I couldn't get any bantams because by the time my local TSC's got bantams, my chicks were already 3 weeks old and too big.

I did go to several local breeders and swaps to pick up some Silkies, d'Uccles, Polish and Guineas.
