Welp it’s time. I need to know. Someone vent sexed my 6 or 7 week old RIR’s a week ago and said they were all female. But I have this gut feeling two are male… I need my expert panel of judges to tell me what they think.

Especially since I cannot keep males within city limits.. so I’ll have to either rehome them or eat the not so tiny anymore nuggets

Here they are with my buff babies
Gosh I love them all.. they been through a lot. The dogs of the house tried to attack them twice with minimal damage cause I was always on top of it right away.

First time my roommate tried to introduce one of the babies to her husky. The dog took one look at the chick and snatched it right out of her hands then ran with it. My daughter tackled the dog full football style and took the chick away.

Second time, they let the dogs out without knowing the side yard gate was open. I went out by halogen chance and saw the dogs trying to tear through the coop/run and get to them all. Man when I tell you, my phone became a ninja star, it became a ninja star. I had been talking on it at the time and the person on it only heard me yell “get away from my chickens! “ then the banging of my phone hitting dogs and ground

Anyways sorry! I just wanted y’all to see them walking around with their little combs on their heads and went into a full on rant.. tsk

I thought so too! I was so scared but it was done without my permission when I wasn’t home…

@TheOddOneOut thank you so much for letting me know . At least I can try to rehome them before they start crowing and we get into trouble. Losing two is better then losing them all. Though still hard.
