Congrats! Just leave them in the incy so they can stay warm and fluff up.......They will be just fine...Then you won't mess up the humidity....

ok update! babies ARE fine for the most part.

a couple that had no progress since last night (I had to see?) so i went thru a window nabbed baby and opened a little hole on them two are dry and shrink wrapped...

I cant move the membrane I SEE vessels SO I just gave them a little better hole and a tiny bit of a dab of warm water on the dry part.then put em back. Nature can take it from there, I didnt want the little things to suffocate though at the last second...and the ones I made holes for i guess ill just wait and see if they make it out...how long should i wait with these membranes like this? CAN they get out?? everyone I opened a little hole is the same thing ,dry membranes stuck to the little things.. the count is up to five now like this,is that just normal? my humidity is 70% after a dry incubation...but the humidity in the house kept the humidity in bator at about twenty five percent. This is a great ratio so far though on shipped eggs,cause they are ALL alive (knock on wood)! my eggs from outside are hatching too! a whole two days early!! not just the little bantams.
when I got home from hospital Deborah saw that the humidity was too low like in the sixties and that was 12 hours into lockdown maybe that caused the membrane issue. the next evening they were hatching last night! I had no idea bantams hatch early! why didnt someone say that? is it just universally known? what day do you put them in lockdown then? day 18? or 16?

Baby count is five out and they are funny looking little buzzards! black and gold with furry feet! And TEENIE! very healthy no weak ones thus far...and loud! hahaha

when can i ove them to the brooder the little canabals are trying to eat the ones not out yet!!! one is REALLY hungry he is trying to eat sponges,eggs,and other chicks! before they can defend themselves or even MOVE for crying out loud!

we have 13 babies!! and more pipping! The ones I had to help, thus far are all doing great! none are sick or weak or anything.

(knock on wood!) Anyhow I feel like we got broke in HARD! lol we did it to ourselves too! since we got so many. So there are still 15 more left and almost all are pipping.Come one 100% hatch!

Our marans go in lockdown on sat then ANOTHER batch goes on Sun... Then hot2pots are gonna be last. Then I wanna do the valentine hatch so we will see. If am well enough we will do that. these are supposed to be silkie crosses and serma and d uccle crosses and cochin crosses I dont see one five toed silkie ANYTHING in the bunch Deborah wanted one so badly

would a silkie cross HAVE five toes? maybe not huh?
