Oh yeah, I remember having to do all that rigamarole now. All my other forums I visit, I can just use the "IMG" link, paste it into a post, and it brings the pic up automatically.

Thanks for the reminder!

Birds are 9 weeks old, and no real pronounced combs.......nor any attempting to crow yet. Did we luck out, and get all properly-sexed chicks???

I tried the IMG link too... ugh, why do they all have to be different? lol

I'm glad it finally worked for you. They are all very lovely! They look happy and healthy!!

I bought my babies 2 days ago. Out of 18 I lost 2 the first night. All the rest seem to be doing great. I was wondering if anyone knows if pine needles ( last years on ground) could be used for bedding? ?

I am brand new to chickens, but I read pine needles are great for nest boxes, etc, but not really absorbent, so probably not the best for a brooder.
I have an unlimited supply of pine needles, so I look forward to putting some of it to use in the coop.
Plus, it's free! :)

The free part is what I was thinking about! LOL Plus I know my big girls love scratching around I it, so I thought the babies would like it too.
