Babies coming in 19 days!!! What else can I do to prepare for them?

That coop is big enough for 3.5 chickens.

I think your not quite understanding what I was saying. I have an old coop that is small, but I have a new coop coming that is plenty big enough for 27 birds, if not more chickens. My old coop sounds small, but it has 3 roost and 4 nesting boxes. My chickens are healthy and happy. They just go in there at night, they have a big run and also free range a lot. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't thinking about the other brooders that I have used in the past. I'll have to borrow them again.

Ok...that sounds much better.

I still think if you were to get some boxes and tape them together to make one big box it would be better than using three separate brooders.
Then, they will all be together and you won't have as much as a problem when it comes time to put them in the new coop.
