Babies coming in 19 days!!! What else can I do to prepare for them?

Your brooder is 45" x 10"??? I do hope that's a mis-print. That's less than 4 sq. ft. General recommendation is for 2 s.f./chick by the time they are 2 - 3 weeks old. They grow very fast, and need lots of room, especially if you plan to use a heat lamp.

Call your closest appliance store and ask them to save a couple appliance boxes for you. Then, you will have to have a space large enough to set up an appropriate sized brooder. Consider using a MHP heating pad for heat instead of a heat lamp. Chicks double their size every single week. So, you need to be prepared with enough brooder space to get them through until you put them in the coop. If you have a coop, why not brood them right in the coop. Do you have enough coop space? They need 4 sq. feet of open space in coop per bird.

I don't have the size of the brooders. We will be getting the coop a soon a possible. It is really nice sized though.
I hope so too!
You can buy some boxes or find some free like mentioned above, what ever you do please get/make a much bigger brooder.
Having them all crammed into that small of a space is going to cause all kinds of problems.
