I had mixed brahma and mixed standard eggs (both sets shipped) to hatch out the 21st and 22nd. Well, they are hatching, with the exception of a couple they are all pipping and I have two darker babies out so far. This is one of the best hatches I have had to the point and from shipped eggs too.

They were both packaged about the same, but very good packaging.
I have two theories, lol. The eggs that have done the best for me were either shipped a very short way,or, and this may sound crazy, they were shipped from west to east. The ones doing the best right now are mixed standards from French Hen. Even the green eggs she sent that she said were a little "older" are hatching!
I often have wondered and posted about it in the past if the mixed eggs do better too?

Whoohoo! I'm so happy! I"m two days behind you and I just set them for their final rest before hatch!

sorry to shout but

I WANT PICTURES!

I think there were four or five? As far as I can tell from looking into the incubator with the flashlight, ALL the green ones are either hatched now or pipped. I dont have any of the Brahma mixes hatched yet, though the eggs are moving. Of yours (and yes, I will take pics but will have to with the cell phone) so far there are six completely hatched. Two dark ones, three blondish ones and one reddish looking little one.
As soon as I move them to the brooder I will take the pics.

Meaning I should probably take pics of the two Light Brahmas I hatched from SundownWaterfowls eggs. They are growing like weeds!!
You should do real well with your hatch I am guessing since the shipped ones have had such luck hatching!!! Here is hoping all of yours hatch!

That is so cool. I'm so very excited to see how my first ever hatch goes! Now I'm going to be glued to the incubator watching for signs of life.
