Baby birds killed

Lots of things will kill small birds.

My friend even had her turkey kill her small dog! :hmm

Chickens will kill small birds.... that is if we are talking chicks that don't belong to them.

The small birds that come in my yard are faster than those I keep. And they can fly. I doubt a guinea will be much different. It ends up being more of a chase.

Your question doesn't state any circumstances, so I just answered best I could. Is there something specific you are wondering? :pop

Will guinea’s kill small birds?
In the right circumstances they will kill and eat any kind of small animal. It is unlikely they would disturb a nest in a tree but if they happened on newly hatched birds of a ground nesting species they would kill and eat them just like they would kill and eat a nest of mice.

Snakes will...

I let my week and half old hatchlings play outside because they were starting hop and run around the house. I left them unattended to put my kids down for a nap and I think the guineas got them. I positive it wasn’t a snake or a cat. I’ve seen those guineas bully the biggest rooster in the yard but they were off doing there guinea thing and they weren’t really around at the time but they were the only larger birds that werent cooped and they were hanging around when I discovered my chicks weren’t alive. Since my duckling who is a bit older had recently adopted them as his family and they usually stuck real close to him I thought they would enjoy the shade and grass for a bit and it would be okay. I was so wrong. On top of the Guinea situation, who were a part of a flock that were left for me to care for,I had to put down two meat chickens who also belonged to that flock who were way past their due date and they had bad infections and were suffering. Today has not been a good day for me. I’m pretty bummed.

I am so sorry to hear this. It’s hard to constantly be supervising the babies, but if you don’t... well I think you discovered that many things can happen.
