I must agree. Lol

The one that is wild? If the stripes are redish it is wild if they are yellow it is golden pearl that is the only way to tell the chicks apart

I don't see any ivory ones but I could be wrong
The blueface looks like a sf. To me
Think I covered the question lol

There are two of the 'whites' that aren't quite as yellow as the others, that's why I was thinking they might be ivory.

But they are pretty yellow, just a bit dull.

They are probly masking a darker color they really all look white. Ivory tends to look like a funky cross of silver and cinnamon a really dirty yellow

To adress a earlier question on breeding whites to white and for that matter getting any color to breed true it takes tons of work. I will try to make a post on it soon

So I didn't do too bad...lol the blueface is just sooo dark...lol

You guys are adding chicks that don't exist...lol If there is a cinnamon then there's only one silver...if there's a redbreast, then there's no wild-type...lol

There are 8 chicks....2 of them are light greenishy color (I think 1 is slightl darker than the other). One has a blotchy back. All of the chicks are pictured in the face shots. Of the "whites" 1 of them looks like it "might" have a bit of color on its head?... One that looks like it might have very light stripes is from Garry's whites...so...it better be white...lol

I need to get some daylight shots...it was raining and cloudy when I got home from work today.

The chick that I said looked like cinnamon looks like it in that particular picture. Only you can know for sure, a silver would be grey with yellow stripes, a cinnamon is grey with reddish stripes.

The wild/red breasted chick is another one that only you will be able to tell. Wild chicks have red stripes, red breasted chicks have yellow stripes. In the face pic, it appears to be a darth vader, which is a golden redbreasted. But like I said, only you can tell for sure.

As for blueface, all blueface chicks are dark, the difference between double factor (df) and single factor (sf) is that the df's will have a white patch on their throat, and often have white on their faces. So that's another one that only you can tell

It looks like sf.

I AM OFFERING THESE AS AN ASSORTMENT OF WHITE AND SPLASH EGGS ONLY, I HAVE THESE BIRDS SEPARATE FROM ALL OTHER QUAIL AND ALL YOU CAN GET FROM THESE EGGS ARE WHITE AND SPLASH. SPLASH IS A VARIETY OF WHITE THAT I PRODUCED MANY YEARS AGO. IT STARTED OUT WITH WHITES THAT HAD JUST A FEW FLECKS OF COLOR AND EVENTUALLY LED TO BIRDS THAT CAN HAVE AS MUCH AS 30% OF THE BIRD COLORED THOUGH MOST HAVE LESS

The above is a quote from Garrie's ebay listing. I would think recessive to recessive would always get you that color???? Looking forward to your post Citalk2much.

They are the cutest little things!!!

I hatched out a few too. I got my eggs from Lisa, she is PeepsNBunnies on BYC. I asked her about how big they'd be when the hatch, and she said the size of a bumble bee!! She couldn't have been more right! They are just so sweet!! Enjoy!!!!

Just toooo cutttte!!! My white hen always produces atleast one white chick in each hatch. I have mine in a colony setting - 2 or 3 roos to 6/7 hens and I rotate the roos. When not in colony I pair the roos up seperate and they do well. Sorry the eggs went to the wrong place, Stina. If you don't get a good hatch from those eggs of mine let me know and I'll send you some more in a month. I'm having the buttons take a break right now
