Oddball, mixed breed, a little under a week old in this pic;
I miss this weirdo. She reminded me of a falcon, she had very large green eyes and a dark short stubby beak. Sadly, she died when I went away for a couple of days, as she got trapped in a cage and nobody knew she was in there.

This is lucky. She is a six week old cuckoo maran. I bought her from a breeder. I called her that because she had coccidiosis really bad and I nearly culled her...Twice! I had to cull her sister. She took longer to recover than I thought but now she's fighting fit and out with her friends!
