I have this little silver wyandotte cross. Bought 3 different babies from this lady. 2 died and now this one seems to not be able to eat? I scraped out as much as I could without hurting the little one. Dropped a few drops of water in there and afterwards, gently massaged it's throat. It was gasping a bit and making muffled peeps. Now it's peeping louder, but is still sitting up and falling asleep leaning back.

Advice? Help? I included a picture of after cleaning most of it out.

I'm sorry for your losses.

Did the others die because of blockage/stuck feed inside the beaks?

Are you sure that is food? Is there a very bad foul odor?

Looks like there's a lot of material still inside the beak, can you get someone to help you remove more?

Careful about giving drops of water, only give one at a time and let the chick swallow.

What are you feeding?

Chick starter. No odor. Others didn't seem to die of stuff in their throats, but also didn't check their throats after either. I did notice one was buried more under the flakes. I am thinking my older chicks might've buried it accidentally after it died while looking for food? (I found it when it started smelling a day later). It's been super rainy and hot lately. Currently have a tropical storm about to head through so we brought all the smaller babies inside.

Initially noticed something was off bc baby was sitting there all alone slightly gasping. Not even under the heater either. Just all alone in the open. Idk if the older chicks bully it. I haven't seen em do it, but who knows what happens when I am not watching. The older ones are barely 3 weeks old if that. The baby is about 5 days old. Small too for its age. She didn't say it was a bantam so no idea. I did manage to get a bit more food out after the photo. I did it with a plastic fork tine(?) One of the four stick things lol. Made sure it got water and swallowed. Now it's just hanging out in my shower with the others. Though it's peeping louder than it was, it's still acting....sad? I will add a photo in a moment.

Idk what to do fir the baby and I can't snuggle it constantly. (Trust me I want too lol)
