I have four 8 week old bantam chicks that i bought from ranch and home. They all were very active and never seemed to have issues but a few weeks ago i noticed one of my baby chicks wasnt running around as much he still gets up to eat and drink but other than that just lays in the corner of the brooder. The baby chick does have very feathery feet on both feet i have one other chick that has feathers on its feet but nowhere near as much as the one im concerned about. Not sure if the feathers are making it uncomfortable to walk or what is going on with my chicky? Anybody know what it could possibly be?

Foot feathers shouldn't matter.

At 8 weeks of age, I'd treat for coccidiosis. That's the most common cause of lethargy (listless in a corner) at this age.

You can try taking a fecal to the vet to see, or simply put everyone on Corid.

If it was doing fine until now, my guess is illness not structural. But then you say for 'a couple of weeks." I'd also check that its legs are working well, ie not a slipped hock. Does it walk normally when it gets up? Or listless? If listless, I go back to coccidiosis possibility.
