Thank you. Yes they do indeed push and especially when they eat and drink. Thanks for your kind helpThey love to cuddle, they're very social creatures. Cuddling is very important to their sense of well-being and even at day-one, you'll notice that some will push and shove others. This is totally normal behavior and shows that from hatch to the grave, chickens constantly compare themselves to their peers and rise and fall on their pecking order accordingly.
One more question pls. Is it normal for the brooder temp to drop by a little at night? Since I'm working with a heat lamp. TksSounds like they are doing very well!
It might depending on how much the outside temp drops. You only want one warm spot in your brooder anyway, let the rest remain cool. It sounds like you are doing fine.
