Hello, I have a baby chick that just hatched today. The temp has not been less than 99.5, and humidity not less than 75% - when the chick hatched the humidity did go up to 80% for about an hour or so, but is now back to 75%. The poor chick lays down and it's legs are shaking. I should confirm, when it sleeps on it's stomach it is ok. But a few times I have seen it on it's side, and it's little legs shake. Do you think it is cold, or just exhausted? It just hatched about 5 hours ago. The last time I hatched chicks they all hatched at night and were mostly dry by the morning. This is my first time seeing one being hatched. Help! Also, how long does it take them to dry?
