Looking for some help folks. First time raising chickens. We hatched 6 orpingtons from 12 eggs and this little guy cant walk. He just sits back and hobbles on his knees. I'm debating euthanizing him but thought I'd check with this great community whether theres anything I can do to help him or whether he has a chance improving. One other chick has similar symptoms in one leg but can get around on the other so I'm optimistic for him.

And also, he was hatched this way, not a problem that developed with time

Try some vitamin B complex 1/4 tablet crushed into his food or some egg daily. I cannot see if the legs are deformed or splayed. A picture of you holding it up to a standing position might help. Varus or valgus deformity, slipped tendon, and splay leg are common. It might benefit from treating like splay legs with a vet wrap strip bringing the legs together. A cup or glass with padding sometimes can be used to help with leg strength. All leg problems need to be addressed quickly because after the first week, they tend to become impossible to treat. Agree with @Eggcessive, supplement the B's. Riboflavin (B2) deficiency commonly causes hock sitting, splay leg, and curled toes. The deficiency can start during development inside the egg. B vitamins are water soluble and extra will be excreted so there is little risk of overdosing them.
