Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

I go a couple new chicks. The help at the store couldn't tell me how old they were besides "at least two weeks", i suspect they are quite a bit older. Can you help me narrow down their age? Thanks! The black one is a barred Plymouth Rock, and the brown a Rhode Island Red. The black is quite a bit bigger.
I'm not an expert on this by any means but I'm Thinking 3 weeks?

These chicks hatched on or about April 13..."Lulu" Blue isbar/Lavender orpington

"Isea" blue andelusian/Blue isbar- out of white egg

at first I thought this bird was a SFH because I had SFH eggs in incubator, but now I think she is a Maran/black australorp mix..."sophie"

these 2 look alike I think they are from the same parents. the one below won't stop peeping. I had to sleep with her in my bed last night. don't worry I sleep light. I have been calling this chick "Porknoy, the complainer".

pure blue isbar, "Ula"

Lynessa, Blue Isbar/lavender Orpington

Blue isbar/lavender orpington, "Culuck".

SFH pure, "Sparque"
Your chicks are so gorgeous!

Just had 2 phoenix bantam chick hatch this morning! I had to assist them, as the eggs were laid at a much lower altitude than what I'm at and the eggs had issues with shrink wrapped chicks (2 chicks died because of that). 2 more eggs are still in the cooker, but I think these dudes (a Blue on the left and a Blue Red on the right) are probably going to be the only ones to hatch. Can't wait to see what they look like all dried out and fluffy when I get home from work!

We took the babies out for a little play time this afternoon.

I do not see any barred feathering on that black chick. I'd expect to see it by now, if it was a barred rock. I think the age guess is about right.

Yeah, that occurred to me today. The wing feathers coming out are all black except for a few white ones by the wrist. I hope it's a good layer whatever it is.

Is it possible the other isn't a Rhode Island Red? I haven't seen a picture of one that has the tan and black patterns on the wing feathers this one is getting.

Muffy at 6 weeks! She's one of two EE, have two Australorps and an Orpington named Lady. Lost her sister earlier this week to a long illness. Very sad...miss my little Sissy. They all went out to play in the yard today....they just love that!

Be sure and share how they look. Im anxious myself to see how they turn out. Im glad you stepped in and saved these two. Its hard to know when to do it but sometimes it is necessary to assist.
