Be sure and share how they look.  Im anxious myself to see how they turn out.  Im glad you stepped in and saved these two.  Its hard to know when to do it but sometimes it is necessary to assist. 

I'm glad I did, too, Lobzi. I was so nervous about doing it, but they were worth it. Here they are, all dried & fluffy! The Blue is much larger than the Blue Red & seems to watch out for the smaller one. I didn't realise how much my first 2 hatched chicks had grown in 3 weeks until these little dudes hatched.

Frost & Mercury almost look like Godzillas compared to the tiny Phoenix bantam chicks! Also, I think I probably should have named them Sid & Nancy since those punk rock mohawks keep getting bigger & more hilarious.

I never thought I'd hatch baby birds in general, chickens specifically. I'm so glad my rooster showed up on my grandparents' front porch & led me to this experience of incubating/hatching. It's been exhilarating, sad, enlightening & pretty awesome so far.

Can't help with sexing the chicks, but they sure are cute chicks!
