Well, unknown #7 died tonight. Not sure what the problem was. Everyone else seems to be doing well. Hope I didn't just jinx anything. Any ideas on the breed?

I'd say a about a foot and a half you can raise it as they get older

For the first couple of weeks, they won't perch at all, then they'll start to practice perching, but will still probably sleep mostly on the ground. By the time they're four weeks old, they'll want to perch on some kind of roost. It doesn't have to be very high at all--just something they can wrap their feet around up off of the ground.

I LOVE Polish crested, so I was thrilled to see two fluffy heads when I opened the box. Pullets from a rare breed assortment!


Two more pullets from my rare breed assortment. I have a hunch what they are, but want to look them up to verify first.
