I considered retiring from being a chicken keeper. The numbers had dwindled to where I only had eleven left, and some of them are retired, but then my sister said "Hey, they're having a poultry swap at the feed store".

So off we go with dog crates in the truck. Came home with five 6week olds and three one year old barred rocks.
Oh well, retirement can wait a few more years.
