I'm getting chick fever! I just told my mom if she goes and gets some chicks to let me know I might want a couple. ugh my hubby is going to send me to the coop instead of the dog house.

My Mama hen with her new chicks. I had to finish hatching her eggs in the incubator but she sat on them for the duration. I just wanted to make sure all survived the hatch.

Keep those pics coming! Sooooo cute! The store just got another shipment of chicks in... I'm NOT getting more though. I want to, but I can't! The coop won't be big enough! ha ha! On the other hand, my sister just grabbed 6 straight run silkies... so.... MAYBE we'll take one or two off her hands down the road!

For those that asked, I'm near Oneida Lake in CNY. We didn't get a ton of snow, but it's enough that I had to brush the car off a few times before I could leave the driveway... and I did NOT want to go outdoors and attempt to work on the coop. We soooooo need to get it done though. I had to swap the chicks over to bucket feeder and waterers... they have gotten too big for the chick sized containers! AHHH!!!!!
