hi all!

I have a Favacauna chick that’s 2 days old. (They are a breed from My Pet Chicken, a cross between Faverolles and Ameraucanas. They are supposed to have 5 toes.)
I have just noticed that on her right leg, the two toes are stuck together. Not a webbing that’s holding two together but fused together? Attaching photos.

Will this be a problem as she grows up? Anything I can do or should be doing? I’m worried about bone problems as her nails seem to be stuck together also :(

Other than that, she’s walking fine, eating fine and pooping fine.

That shouldn't be a problem....I would just leave them the way they r..fused together....other than looking a little odd...it shouldn't cause any problems with the growing of the foot or walking.

I'm sorry i can't be of much help. If she is walking fine she may grow up to be fine. If you bought these for breeding I wouldn't breed her due to the defect. I would contact the hatchery to make them aware of the defect, and i would just continue to watch her to make sure no other issues developed. Also if your able and willing try to find a vet. Getting xrays or something of the feet will tell you more of what's going on and how much of an issue it might be
