baby chick weak!!!!

I would not give him any more corn flour. He needs baby chick feed. Is that what you mean by kibble? That's all he should have for now. He can't digest anything else, it is made specially for baby chicks.
How do I make sure he eats the kibble? The main reason why I fed him the mixture is because it was more liquidy, so I could drop a little on his beak and he could eat a little. I googled baby chick feed because I didn't get the food from the lady so I didn't get the chance to ask, but I'm assuming she did in fact give us baby chick feed ( which is what I meant by kibble ).

Maybe I'm just concerned because he's sleepy like he should be? The first couple of days that we had him he chirped a lot at night and throughout the day, which I'm now assuming is because the light was too much for him?
Was he given food and water? He was probably cold and hungry and if alone, lonely.

Baby chicks need to be taught how and what to eat and drink and those need it be available. No sure why you would be feeding it cornstarch and sugar water. Please keep it much warmer and feed it chick crumbles and fresh water.
Thank you for the tips. I was told by some other chick owners on here to give it a little sugar water. Thank you anyways!

Yes! He has always had water and food at his disposition and maybe it was because he was lonely. The first couple of days he stayed in a smaller box and the temp was higher! So I don't know if it'd be because of the temp.

Also, no more sugar water. Plain water is all it needs. Not cold water, but not too hot. Do you have a chick waterer?
Alright thank you! I currently don't have one, but I just searched it and saw that I can easily make one. I'll get right to it.

When baby chicks are sent through the mail, we often give them sugar water right away for their first drink, it helps them recover from the shipping stress. But plain water after that. Then just dip their beak in the food, or tap it with your finger. They learn quickly!

Thank you so much! Should I wait for him to regain his forces or wake him up? He's sleeping as of now.
