Can you get to a feed store? A feeder and waterer should only cost a couple of dollars and you just need a quart jar for each one. I don't know how you would make one ...?

Just put it in a dish and hold him gently and tap his beak into it. When he tastes it, he'll get the idea.
You don't need to soak it, if it's very fine and crumbly he can eat it.

the temp is at 35 now. I'm dropping some water into his beak but he's shaking his head. He's also opening his mouth a lot without making noise and I've read somewhere that it was bad i believe. I'm afraid he's getting bedding in his mouth??
Sorry for the many posts, but if you do wet it, you can't leave it in with him very long or it will go bad and can make him sick, I think. Better to feed it dry.
Don't give him water like that, he can aspirate it into his lungs.

He looks like hes gasping for air almost? I tried to lift up his head but it was very limp :/
When he is awake, tap with your fingertip at the food as if your fingertip was a beak that was eating the crumble. Put a few shiny pebbles or marbles in the water dish to catch his eye and peck with your finger at them to encourage him to drink.
Has he been drinking on his own at all?
