Hi everyone. I have a baby chicken who is 5 days old. The chick can't walk properly because of its right leg, wich is in a weird position(pointed to the right) and seems to be a little swolen in its knee area. The other leg is fine. The chick can only crawl and I haven't see her eating at all. I helped her drink water, but she won't eat. I Will try to post a picture. What can I do?

Welcome to BYC. Pictures of the chick standing with your help would be helpful. A chick sling to get her in front of food and water would be good. She is needing food if she on’t eat. Mix a little feed in some water to make it mushy, and try to get it eating. A chick vitamin with riboflavin may be helpful.

She sounds like she has a slipped tendon, but a leg bone deformity or twisted tibia might also be possible. If it is a slipped tendon, you can try to put it back in place, then splint the leg with small strips of vet wrap or cohesive bandage. Scroll down to “Repositioning a slipped tendon” in this link after reading the first paragraphs:
