baby chicks knee issue

I got a baby chick from the store that had a leg issue. They gave it to me for half off and it was one of 2 left and was pretty close to the other 1 and I got both.
The "knee" part is very swollen and round. The chick cannot walk on it and hops everywhere. I have had it now for 2 weeks and does not seem to want to grow. I worry its in pain and I don't know if it can be fixed. The leg cannot extend out straight like the other leg. I don't believe at this this point the other chicks are picking on it.

Is there a way I can fix this?

No,
We got it for free from the feed store because it was already having issues.

Could also be a slipped tendon. They will swell up at the hock joint.

I got a meat chick from a feed store one time. I saw it was stuck in the back of the cage, and had over tugged it's leg and then had a hard time walking. He got better after I took him home.

we are week 3 and the chick has not grown at all. Seems to of gotten worse.
