Baby chicks limping

I have two week-old chicks (BO & Salmon Favorelles) that I noticed limping yesterday morning. I put them in a separate box with lamp and food and all. It looks like there are red bruised looking spots on their "ankle". I suspect that they may have hurt themselves while perching on some small pieces of wood in the brooder. I do not believe it is maraks because they were vaccinated at the hatchery.
Have any of you encountered this problem and have any advice?
