so far we have had 7 chicks hatch... three are from the Amerucana eggs; 3 from the Bielefelder ( 2 F 1 M ) and 1 other from my own flock.

Here are the first 6 … one of the Bielefelder females is on the right...colored like a chipmunk. The male Bielefelder is in between the two lighter colored Amerucana mix chicks. Lighter chipmunk color but with a white spot on the head.

14 other eggs in incubator. None of these have pipped . We are on Day 23 so will candle the rest to see if they have had some development in them.

Maybe I should give them a couple more days ??

Woohoo! :wee I would give them a couple more days; my first hatch was LATE, by I think three or four days. I myself have two babies (unknown barnyard mixes - I think one solid buff Orpington and a Rhode Island-buff orpington mix) that have hatched under my broody and the rest have pipped! I think I may (hopefully) be looking at a 100% hatch rate!! :highfive::jumpy

I wouldn't go past 25 days. I've never had anything hatch that late. The exception would be if you had had low temperatures at any point during the incubation period. That could delay hatching some. But definitely check the eggs for an odd smell or any seepage or oozing. Those are indications of eggs that have gone bad! You don't want any eggs to explode in your incubator!! :sick Candling them again would be a good idea as well. Good luck!
