baby chicks

k so im getting some baby chicks....does anyone have a recommendation on what breed?(im only getting girls)

PS:we already have a buff orpington, rode island red, barred rock, and some americanas and we would like to get some new breeds...

P.P.S:godd laying is important and we dont want white colored chickens

If all you want is good layers, and not a white chicken, get more Rhode Island Reds. Are there other reasons you want other breeds such as egg color, size of eggs, interesting looking chickens, etc? Marans lay the dark brown eggs but aren't the best layers. There are a handful of breeds that are great layers but most lay just the standard brown egg except the leghorn, but they are white. Do you want hens that are more friendly than other breeds?

you can go into the breeds tab and click the boxes for the things you want in a bird.... My brown laghorn drops eggs often

i got the chicks!!
i got an astralorp, 2 jersey gianys, a buff barahma, a americana, a rare russian breed, a welsummer, black silkie, and a silver wyandotte

they were so cute, i just had to tell u guys cause that much cute-ness is over-wellming
