Thanks guys! I also got two new birds that seem to me terrified of me. I try and let them and hold them to let them know it's okay and they still run away. I put my hand out with some treats and stuff and they still didn't come to me. D: anyone have any helpful tips on what I can do to get them I like me like my other two birds?? I love my chickens and I want them to love me too. c:
If you got them recently, as it appears you did, they may still be having a heartatrack for moving (figuratively ;p) chickens are strange but lovable critters c: just keeping working around them, holding them and stuff will also help, no matter how much it appears to be doing nothing. Just hold them and offer them food until they relax and then let them go, are they juvinille/mature birds, or chicks, if they are chicks, just leave your hand in the brooder until they come, they will come after a while and investigate, even if they are super scared at first, then you will be able to slowly accustom them.
This is what worked for me, I have 12 super friendly birds that used to be TERRIFYED of me, so it worked for me, everyone has their own way and differently personalized birds!
