baby duck with lots of problems

I forgot about something Topper won't eat. She hates bananas. None of my chickens or ducks will eat them. Of course.


If anybody needs any rain let me know. We are going threw another monsoon season here. I've never seen a summer like this before. Usually it's dry like the desert all summer. I love slipping and slidding threw the mud I think it's worse then snow.

We just put down grass seed we'll take some. we're going dry again and hot again.

Trying to grow grass for my geese is like trying to catch fish in the commode, [sounds better than toilet] right

I have 2 Pekins and 2 Rouens. They do seem a bit on the picky side. They don't like tomatoes either. Maybe it's the wet consistency that turns them off.

Some of my ducks love tomatoes but not all but my chickens will jump through the air for some.

Aww cute pics they look like their enjoying their watermelon. What kind of chickens are they? They left the ducks some watermelon? Are you kidding my chickens wouldn't go in the coop without devoring the whole thing. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

Well they are young so they can't eat as much as my big girls, they are Cochin Bantam.

Yep, mine don't like bananas either.

Patty, are you near me in MO? All this rain is beyond ridiculous. At this rate, we'll be lucky if our pool gets installed before winter.

Ok Patti enjoy all this rain I'm sending you. Today tomorrow, next day and I didn't have the heart to check the long forecast. Probably more rain go figure. Hubbie put down several bags of grass seed but all we have is mainly weeds. He said the ducks followed him and ate as he threw it down.

Well a couple of years ago it rained so hard Hubbie had a net catching our koi and goldfish that overflowed from the little fish pond. That was probably harder to do then the commode.

Deb I live in Southern Indiana. Like I said I've never seen so much rain as we've gotten this summer. Good luck on getting your pool installed maybe you can send Patti some of your rain too.

Funny poor fish. Thankfully my pond has never over flowed . They say we're to get close to high 80's again and bone dry with wind. Yuck, which makes the ground dry out faster. Too bad we really can't help each other out with sending our extra rainy- dry weather to each other. My one tomato plant already has wilt.
