baby duck with lots of problems

I finally caught Que Sera and brought her inside the house.  I was feeding them this morning and they chased Que Sera away from the eggs I put on top of their food.  I told her that's fine I'll bring  you inside after while and you can have a whole egg to yourself.  

When I brought her in and sit down on my computer chair with her she climbed up my chest and wrapped her neck around me.  My baby missed me as much as I have missed her.  After we got finished cuddling and talking she talked to me like she did Princess I put her in her cage so she could eat her egg.  I did this because the last time she ate in the kitchen I had to sweep and mop.  She is sleeping behind me here in the kitchen on a towel beside my croc shoes.  She reminds me of Opie and his visits and sleeping on his towel.  Robbie just woke her up going to the microwave but she's still laying down on the towel.  I'm trying to get Robbie to take a pic of her.  He got a great pic of her and now he's taking one of Rhonda and Uno.  I just saw the pic of Rhonda and Uno.  Uno is behind Rhonda but you can see some of him.  She's always protecting that little one.  Now hopefully he will  upload them after while.

I know this took a while, she's camera shy but this is Miss.Wonky and her flock at lunch time, and her new best girlfriend my crested mallard(no name yet)the golden sebright next to her is Frigga the darker sebright is Sigyn,the buff Japanese is Ishtar, the Silver sebright hen is Odin( she's blind in one eye), the black tailed white blur in the middle is Angry Bird my best broody and the sneaky duck in the top corner is Flash. I think my sebright roosters are in there too ( Loki and Baldor)

I"ll never tell Clyde what I suspect. He is the only male duck that we have that patiently waited outside the little house for the eggs to hatch. Well sometimes he wasn't to patient he would climb right in the house I guess he thought he could speed up the process with his big body sitting in there too. He also helped Cher get their baby back when Thelma and Louise kidnapped it.

Robbie takes the pics of the ducks with his phone then downloads it to the computer then somehow puts it on byc. He shows me everytime he says its easy to do. Sure it is he lost me the first 5 seconds of showing me. lol I'll show him this post and maybe we might get a pic of uno in the next couple of days.

He is such a sensitive sweetheart of a father duck. How innocent of him to wait patiently during the hatching. But then it is also sweet he would get impatient and put his big body in there too. How is his leg doing?

How did he help get the baby back from Thelma and Louise and why would they kidnap it?

I have no idea how to down load pics from my phone to my computer. I don't think I can. My phone is a motorola and my computer is an Apple Mac. I think I'd have to have an iPhone?
I don't know. Good thing Robbie knows how to do things on your end. I'd need him over here with me to help.

Heehee. the sneaky duck Flash in the corner is so cute. I love that. Miss Wonky is adorable. So sweet how all the birdies are clustered together happily. Neat how the little chickens are right in the middle of it all.

Deb we are trying to talk you into letting those poor little ducks get in your new pool. Patti is right a hot tub would be even better. I don't need a pool I just have to step into my backyard.

Oh no Louise just jumped out of the container Hubbie has for one his plants for the pond. The plant is probably history by now.

Strange weather all over the place. After the heavy flooding rains a month or so ago we got another 8.7 inches yesterday...heaviest rain since they started keeping recorders in the 1860's.

pattyhen...wish you could put the rain on hold, get your pool installed, then start up the rain again...would sure save on the water bill

Please, please send that rain to Oregon.

Thanks Julie they were my mystery chicks, lol my ds got the eggs for me from a guy who works at the lumber yard here I put the eggs under my 2 bantams who were broody in hopes of getting a new roo since my roo is going on 6 yrs old. I think I can safely say I have one out of the 4 eggs that hatched. Verdict still out on my younger 2. The one on the left with out the blk head I am pretty sure is a roo.

You're welcome Miss Lydia. When will you know for sure the one is a rooster? Other than maybe some physical characteristics that differ the sexes, when will he start making rooster crowing sounds?
