Baby peachicks

I haven't started advertising yet. I have 12 hatched and about 60 eggs set. Getting eggs daily too. Suppose I will start advertising soon though, so as to not run out of room, which is easy to do.

I am in central Oklahoma. Dodged tornados yesterday. Watching closely today for a second round. Tornado went 2 miles south and hit Shawnee. Back to your question. I start the prices at $30 each, depending on color. I won't sell any until they are at least 4 weeks old. I like to make sure they are off to a good start. Also, I want to be sure that everyone is aware that snakes are out and about, at least where I am. I walked into my white pea pen, scoped out the entire ground and edges of the pen with a flashlight, preceded to gather some eggs, and was bit by a copperhead on the hand, that was hiding under the bottom frame board, so everyone please look under spaces to be sure that a snake is not hiding there.

Glad the storm missed you.. tornados are so unpredictable.. i lost my home in 2005 to a tornado spawned from hurrican Rita.. thank god we decided to evacuate for the first time.. i was gone.

snake bites can be terrible.

That is why i do not work cleaning the woods in the warm months, the birds keep the leaf litter stired up and it can be past my ancle when i walk in it, I can hear a snake in the litter but not when the dogs and i are making more noise than they are

Snakes are bad here this year, my dogs have killed 3 over 5 foot in the last week, i hate that

but they came into the roosting /feeding areas and they got caught.

Yoda, I think I have more orders for peachicks than I can hatch right now for another month and I still have 2 pens (IB and Thangs) that has not started laying yet ,must be PEA BOOM?
I haven't taken orders yet. I still have 43 in the cabinet waiting to go in the incubator and 34 in the incubators waiting to hatch. 15 hatched and growing great. I am nervous about shipping in the heat, how do you do it? Was told to wait til fall when weather is cooler. I have a couple orders for IB but that was all when I get a verity I will advertise so far I have some whites, BS and pieds.
