Okay thank you! How long after they hatch should they be walking fine?
He’s still sitting on his butt. He kinda flops around, and I have another one that hatched this morning, but he won’t walk either. He just lays on his side and rolls around. Maybe it was a bad batch? 3 out of the 5 I put in there hatched. But they all can’t seem to walk very well.
The first baby ( red leg and black toe ) is staring to walk better. The toe is pretty much fallen off, but he manages to get around fine.
No, I don’t. What is it? And where can I get some?
Today is day 19. Baby 1 hatched on day 18, baby #2 hatched day 19 at 3 in the morning, and baby #3 hatched day 19 at 8 am.
Some electrolytes and vitamins could help. Nutridrench is a liquid multi vitamin, Tractor supply and such sells it. The neat thing about it is that it gets into their bloodstream almost immediately, and usually perks them up quickly. I'd recommend having some on hand, even if you don't end up getting any for these guys. It's kind of a thick liquid. I wipe my finger on the dropper, and wipe onto their beak, then follow up with fresh water.
