Oh, bummer! I have seen so many folks on here with quail hatching/baby issues... I really want to try some quail, but I feel insanely unqualified and intimidated.

Don't feel unqualified!!! i felt the same way, but we are all here to support you!!! it is not as hard as it looks, LOL!

we had to with splayed leg and they learned to walk fine, Nutri-drench would certainly help though!

UPDATE!

I couldn’t find any local stores that had the Nurtidrench in stock, but I did find something similar. After I dipped the babies beaks in, they started drinking by themselves and are all starting to walk better! Baby #1 is perfectly fine, baby #2 isn’t laying on his belly, he is actually using his feet to walk, and baby #3 managed to take his first few steps, even thought wobbly, without falling over. Thank you all for the help!

Before you know it, they will be so fast, you can barely catch them.

And if you didn't know, they can jump/fly out of a 14" deep brooder box within a week.

Baby #3 isn’t looking good. He’s limp, and won’t stand. When I pick him up his head and neck is limp. He’s just sprawled out. I dipped his beak into the nutri-mixture I got, and it looked like he swallowed it, but he’s getting worse

He’s not doing that great. He’s gotten worse he can’t stand and has given up on trying. His head is shaking and when I pick him up he’s limp.
