Last night while I was at my formal one of my baby quail, Aerlia, escaped her cage while looking for me. She fell straight down the crack behind a shelf the cage was on and got stuck in a wierd position, and I'm not sure for how long she was down there.
She doesn't seem to be in pain, and is running just as fast as usual as well as following me around, acting normal except for the way she walks. I didn't notice it until now.
I'm not sure how to upload videos, but she lifts up one leg quickly while walk and leans on the other. The bird's leg looks fine, and so does the quail. This is the bird in question:
She hatched Monday.
