Hi everyone,
Excuse me for my English since I'm an Egyptian whose native language is Arabic.
So one of my new hatched quails (6 or 7 days old) is closing one eye totally, i forced it to open its eye and put some anti-inflammatory eye-drops inside of it. It also has a neck sprain as shown in the video link below. What is that? And what should i do now? Is it Newcastle disease?
Note : i lost 3 chicks in the last 24 hours for no reason. They simply just died.
Thanks in advance.

I agree with Nabiki, wry neck. I don't eat my birds and I have one that has lived a few years with it no problem. She has actually improved a bit and is very happy. You should be able to keep it as long as you want to. Good Luck!

That's really good news, thank you

Watch the eye tho, if it crusts closed again, you may need to open the lid and find the grain of whatever is in there. I find the wry necks will sometimes drag the face in feed and get a tiny piece inside the eye lid which will cause it to get crusted over again and again, and will eventually get infected.

That's a nice note. Appreciated
