baby rabbit-anybody know what they eat?-help

In case you wondered, the rabbit society states the mother rabbit only feeds at night, and will look for the bunny up to ten feet away. Since the wounds are holding closed,eyes are open, no other obvious signs of injury, and is able to move OK, I decided to rebuild the nest and put little rabbit back in there, I crisscrossed twigs over the nest so I'll know if she returned to feed him. I don,t have any goat milk, or kitten formula for him tonight so maybe he'll get a meal. I can check to see if he gets fed by a rounded belly. Hopefully the mother is alive and i don't have to drive miles for goats milk.
