Baby Sebastopol Geese???

I have a viable good egg that is getting close to hatching. One of my Marans has been sitting on it. I brought it to the incubator tonight. Any tips or suggestions? This is the first for me! Also, I found a chick hatching breach! Very tight fit. I helped get it out and it seems to be fine but exhausted. Peeping but now sleeping. It appeared to have fought pretty hard to get out.

Aww what a precious chick, hope it's doing good this morning.. as for your goose egg You might want to read this just skip the first part since your ready to hatch. I don't use incubators so can't help but i know humidity has to be pretty high somewhere around 70% but please read Petes guide it is what most here use. Let us know when hatching begins and remember gosling don't hatch fast like chicks do so don't freak out when it seems to take forever for the lil one to hatch.

Lydia-Our little gosling is still pipping but no sign of a hole. I'm keeping the humidity up. Is there a point that I should worry or just let it be?

Go back and read Pete's guide, candle and see where to make a safe hole but read the guide first. I wish I could walk you through this but I have never used an incubator only my girls. How long has she pipped internally?

Been pipping since this morning. There is a crack now! Finally! I will read Petes guide again! I just don't want to disturb the natural course of events. I will keep you posted!
