Thanks, I’ll give it a try.Can you feel the tendon moving around in the back of the leg? Can you push it back in place and wrap it with tape?
I just took a baby turkey to a vet to have a slipped tendon fixed... about the same age as yours... she pulled the leg back and stretched it, like the bird is stretching its leg back. Then she padded the joint so that the leg cannot fold up. The tendon will slip out if the leg bends, so try to keep it straight-ish for a few days. I tried to describe it the best I can, but let me know if you need a better descriptor. The vet also gave him some medicine and he was fine in 3 days.
