So here she is...supposed to be a she anyway. Seems like the pullets are gonna be different breeds even though they came from the same bin. Oh well I like them anyway. I took this picture for comic relief as well as trying to figure it out. Is it possible this thing may be a bantam as well? I am guessing they are approaching 3 weeks old, I have had them for 2 weeks. Thanks and have a good laugh

Oh yea, that roost she is on also doubles as predator defense system.

Thanks for looking,

No way would my hubby let the chicks roost on his weapons. They might poo on them!

Is it a buff orp bantam? Its legs look yellow, but buff orps lighten as they get a little bigger, don't they?

orps have white legs, this one looks yellow....
what kind of comb? if single, could be a buff rock or buff leghorn....if pea, could be cornish

GI CHICK looks like a BO (if legs are pink) OR a Buff Rock (if legs are yellow).
I have both and they are both great egg layers!
My grandaughter wanted to know how the chick aims and shoots at the same time!

I meant the legs lighten up. I've seen quite a few pics on here of buff orp chicks whose legs were darker, and people said they'd get lighter as they grew. Seems like it'd be more likely to come across a buff orp bantam than a buff rock bantam.
