I decided to try and match the chick patterns to photos I think the striped one that died was not Egyptian now. The Egyptians are way more reddish. I am thinking the light striped chicks of which two failed to thrive since delivery maybe Bantam Easter Eggers, the ones I at first thought were Marans that did not make it I think are actually D’Uccles. The bantams are not doing as well as the standard chicks.

The Naked Necks have been super active. The ones I now think are the Egyptians are doing great. The Marans seem healthy. The various standard blue/green layers seem healthy too… so now just worried about the bantams in this order.

I noticed all my Naked Necks have bow ties, so they have one Naked Neck gene and one normal gene. So if they are all Pullets then chicks hatched from them crossed with a normal rooster will result in chicks with or without the gene… but no pure Naked Necks. If one turns out to be a rooster than a similar sort of thing but pure Naked Necks could happen.
