I have been trying to replicate this error for a while in IE8/9, but I've been selectively filtering this and that for some time (not just BYC) and don't have the time to monkey around further. I assumed the b.scorecard(lijit) - beacon, to count unique views of ads (it is true - no reason to spend the money on advertising if you can't quantify the utility-but, jeeez, make it fast!) was the problem (have found it to be elsewhere). HTTPWatch (ver8) doesn't show the same hit on page loading, etc. as it used to. So, I'm stumped.
However, I came across this and those of you on 8/9 might want to try (when you get to igoogle, create an account and follow instructions in replies to article, below. Close down and restart IE. This
might work with other browsers as well??)

I'd strongly suggest an alternate browser (IE8 is actually superior to 9 as one can turn on the Status Bar and futz with filtering directly - fewer clicks/more info). Comodo's Dragon is Chromium based but, unlike Google's Chrome, doesn't keep calling home incessantly - check your event viewer - applications - sometime, if you are using it. (googleChrome extensions work just fine in Dragon, I'd suggest Page Loader/Web Development tools/Ghostery).
If the above doesn't work please post
PS: If you don't have the latest version of Adobe Flash, get it. Once installed all the settings will be local (on your machine). Go to control panel and click on the flash icon/settings - you'll know what to do...
