I have great things coming up strong on my second plant of the season
figured I need 8 more tires we will go next week then mix oldest compost, oldest chicken dirt and potting soil from smaller pots we will not be planting again have it all ready for next year but let cook through winter on many pumpkins, acorn, zucchini and the great crook neck squash I have had this year

I did get out there today and water the flowers and the vegetable beds that have germinating seeds in them. Nothing new or exciting. But our deck is looking good. 20170921_173202.jpg

The contractor that is building the deck is going to build my goat shed so we are cleaning up the area there. Which involves a chain saw and many other tools. Bon fire tonight.

Yet one more reason why I gotta love BTE: The garden is less sensitive to frost:

Yet an other killing frost last night. 31.2 this morning after sun had started to rise. Lawn and windshields were white. Yet the BTE garden remains unscathed by frost.
