Hello!
I am a first time ducky mum and one of my 2 week old ducklings (Banjo, White and fawn) has what i can only describe as a bulging bottom. The vets thought that he/she may be constipated as the feathers by its back passage are clean and she said it felt a bit squishy. He/she is eating, drinking and running around normally and seems to still be growing at the same rate as the other duck but i am keeping an eye on any changes. Can anyone help by telling me what is wrong and the best cure for it? I have tried a warm bath but that didn't do anything. They have been having mushed peas, finely sliced cabbage and carrot and lettuce. even mushed banana. Always have access to water and their food which is Allan and Page grower/finisher for ducks.
