Backyard Brahmas!!

For those of you who have hatchery Brahmas, what weight do they end up at? And from what hatchery?

im gonna ask here what got ignored somewhere else .. does anyone know what happens when ya breed light and dark brahma together .. what color it would make ?

I thought someone on the other thread said they would look like 'hatchery lights'. I just hatched some a couple weeks ago...been wondering myself what they will look like when grown.

i never saw it if they answered me ... but it could have been answered on there before too .. never finished reading the whole thread... i cant wait for mine to get grown and hatch some more... was hatch rate good on those you had ?

I have to clean out there brooder tommorow so maybe i can get some pics of my guys and girls .. the chicks are rather fluffy and cute at this stage so far lo

Fertility was 100% and all were alive on day 18. My boyfriend decided to finish a batch of maple syrup in the shop when my eggs were at day 19 I think. When I went out there the next morning water was running down all the windows from the steam of the boiling sap. Almost half didn't hatch from the spike in humidity. I was shocked that that I got 24 chicks out of the 40 eggs....figured they were all dead.

well that isnt a bad hatch rate then considering .... ty for answering ... it will be a few months but i cant wait !!!

[my little peeps]

I have a mixed flock, our 4 week old light brahma is smaller than the rest but her personality is amazing. I enjoy watching how fast she changes, how calm and quiet she is (unless I'm out of sight). I am very surprised to have this little girl out eat all others chicks
