Backyard Hens in Inkster, MI?

Hi Folks! I did a bit of searching around and can't find an answer one way or the other. Anyone here from Inkster with backyard chickens? I'm looking to purchase a home in the area on a quarter acre lot (but firmly within the suburbs) and was curious. The only local ordinance I can find is what I've found where the law prohibits the sale of "dyed or not" chicks or rabbits, but I am not intending to sell chicks, or even have roosters (I'm looking to keep a small flock of 3-4 hens like I did on my previous property.) The only other link I can find is to someone lodging a nuisance complaint for someone housing chickens and hogs, but there is no resolution or response regarding what the resolution on that was.

Anyone have any suggestions/advice? I can definitely call the city, but I thought I'd look here for experiences as well. Worst comes to worse, I can sneak some quail instead.

Unfortunately that site doesn't list Inkster one way or the other (other than the same ordinance I found), but thank you for the help!
