I would ignore in most cases.If really inclined I might share a video or photo of the nasty conditions of mainstream chicken suppliers.Dirty,sick,and dying chicken photos from undercover reports. In the end though it will do nothing to change their minds.Might just fuel the issue since it bothered you enough.

So sorry to hear of your troubles at school...Unfortunately things dont always improve when you are older and in the workforce. I have suffered harrassment by some workmates who choose to target my passion for waterfowl. People are sometimes just so selfish and ignorant and should stop and think before they say such hurtful words...

One things I always think of at times like this is Karma...

My mother used to be tormented by a girl at boarding school. 30 years later mum heard she had a terrible marriage- was never able to have children and was never able to hold on to a job long.

I was tormented by a girl in high school and when I was about 25 years old found out she too was absolutely miserable due to things turning bad in her life.

Neither of us had to retaliate in any way..life simply dealt them a bad hand.

Absolutely Immature! I was never very popular in school, I never hung out with the "in" crowd and people thought I was kind of weird. Well 30 years later, those same people are people I converse with daily and we got together when I was home at Christmas. Get over it, don't let them bother you and in 30 years I bet some of them are your friends. Sounds like all involved need to grow up a bit!
